Sea ports, airports, and inland terminals are important links in global halal supply chains, but a MISSING LINK when it comes to halal! Halal compliance and certification of port terminals are important to (1) avoid breakage of halal supply chains, (2) better address risk & reputation management for cargo owners + shipping lines + (sea/air/inland) ports, and (3) avoid fraud with halal logos.   In a halal compliant terminal (sea, air or inland terminal) halal goods are segregated from non-halal goods throughout the terminal process.
